THORN HEDLEY. The family of the late Hedley Thorn would like to thank the Rev. Tina Kemp, the Helensburgh Parish Church Choir, together with the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir, ably led by organist Derek Clark, who all contributed to such a meaningful and lovely funeral service. The funeral arrangements by Jim Auld were excellent, as were the staff of Lomond Ward at Vale of Leven Hospital, who made Hedley's short illness comfortable and lastly the staff at Northwood House Nursing home who made Hedley feel special over the last nine months. Thank you also for those who have contributed to Alzheimer's Research, Hedley's chosen charity. He will be sorely missed.
