ROSS Aileen Mr Bill Ross and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support before and after the loss of his beloved wife, Aileen Ross, who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 21st March 2018. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses from Arrochar Surgery who looked after Aileen so well over the years, and the District nurses and Carers who so ably assisted the family during the last few weeks of her life. They all made it possible for Aileen to stay at home throughout her illness, which was her wish. Thanks are due to Jim Auld Funeral Director, whose support from our first contact was invaluable. This included arranging Aileen's personal wishes. We would also like to thank Rev. Ann Cameron for the uplifting service of memorial and thanksgiving. It was comforting to see so many relatives, friends and neighbours at the funeral; Grateful thanks to all who attended and sent cards and for the generous amount raised for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Aileen and to the staff at the Ardencaple Hotel for serving refreshments.
