Boys cook up a big breakfast
FRYING TODAY: Volunteer cooks up a storm
Helensburgh Boys’ Brigade cooked up a storm recently with a fundraising breakfast.
The Boys’ Brigade breakfast feast, which included bacon, sausage and French toast, was served up at St Columba’s Church Hall. Hungry diners flocked to the event, helping to raise an impressive £514 for CHAS.
Organiser Douglas Wylie said: “The breakfast was well received by everyone who had it.
“Fortunately for all, the food was cooked by some of the boys’ mothers but the boys served their tables well and delivered the plates while the food was still hot!
He added: “The officers and boys would like to thank everyone for their support in this good cause.”
