Biker airlifted to hospital

A biker has been badly hurt in a hit-and-run.
The man was knocked off his motorcycle in a horrific road smash just yards from Cardross Crematorium, yesterday morning. The driver of the car which hit him failed to stop and sped from the scene.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the road was closed during morning commuter traffic.
The motorcyclist was then flown to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow by air ambulance for emergency treatment.
