A group of eager swimmers from Helensburgh Amateur Swimming Club were in action early in the season with a trip to the Tryst Sports Centre in Cumbernauld taking part in the Cumbernauld Graded Age Group Autumn Meet.

Gail Craig, Adam Findlay, Callum Gilmour, Jon Law, Alexandra MacFarlane and Eve Thompson all did very well especially as they had not returned to full-time training at the time of the competition with most achieving PBs.

The swimmers entered 14 events and two finals between them. Worthy of special mention and congratulations was Eve Thompson who swam brilliantly, achieving first place overall and the gold medal in the 10 years 50m Butterfly and sixth place overall in the 50m Backstroke.
