Website co-ordinator sought
May I, though your columns, ask if there is a volunteer to become the co-ordinator of the Helensburgh Green Belt Group’s website?
This is not to create the website because it already exists. Anyone wanting to check it out, please go to www.hgbg.org.uk
The task will be to keep the website updated with occasional material provided by the group’s committee. It would not be a very time-consuming task. I’m afraid that we cannot offer a fee.
The Green Belt Group is a voluntary organisation that works to enhance and protect the countryside around Helensburgh, with special interests in footpaths, community woodlands, wildlife and planning issues. It was established 18 years ago at the suggestion of Provost Billy Petrie and we seek to provide a constructive service to the local community on countryside matters.
Anyone with basic computing skills who is willing to assist is asked to email our secretary at secretary@hgbg.org.uk or to telephone me at 01436 676792 for further information.
