Charities to benefit from Will Aid
I AM pleased to let your readers know that during November McArthur Stanton, solicitors, in Colquhoun Square, Helensburgh, are taking part in Will Aid 2008. Will Aid is a charity fund-raising initiative. It offers everyone the opportunity to make or update their Will in return for a donation to help people in need all over the world.
Throughout November we will draw up a basic Will free of charge. In return for this service we hope clients will make a donation to the Will Aid charities of the fee we would normally charge. As a guide, the suggested amount is just £75 for a single Will and £110 for a pair of ‘matching’ wills.
This money will be divided between nine well-known UK charities: ActionAid, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, Help the Aged, NSPCC, Save the Children UK, Sight Savers International, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (Northern Ireland).
All are working to help people gain the tools, skills and support they need to improve their lives in the UK and around the world.
It is extremely important to seek qualified and professional expertise when making a Will and your readers now have the opportunity to put their own affairs properly in order, whilst benefiting thousands of others all over the world.
We invite all those who haven’t got around to making of up-dating their Will to make an appointment with me this November. The more Will Aid clients we have, the more money we will raise for charity. Therefore, please contact my office on 01436-672212 to arrange a mutually convenient appointment to see me.
