FAMILY favourite Funbox is returning to Helensburgh to entertain with their new singalong show.

Anya, Gary and Kevin, the former Singing Kettle stars are inviting people to join them for silliness galore in their new show.

They are asking that those who attend the show dress as their favourite animal or bird and help to find the keys to open the funbox, which contains everything needed to sing songs and have an adventure.

The Funbox gang have already been performing shows all over Scotland and beyond, making an appearance as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. But the trio enjoy coming to Helensburgh.

Kevin said: “We love coming to Helensburgh, John Young, who does all our photographs and lives nearby, usually drops in with some fantastic ice cream, an excellent half-time treat.”

Animal Magic is coming to the Victoria Halls in Helensburgh on October 9 at 1pm and is packed with classic singalong favourites including ‘Dwon in the Jungle’ and ‘The Bear Hunt’.

The show with its new songs has proved so popular that they have filmed it for their new DVD.

Anya said: “People kept asking for it, so we are giving them what they want. We recorded it in Musselburgh this month and the finished ‘Animal Magic’ DVD should be along sometime in October, hopefully in time for Helensburgh.”

Funbox will perform Animal Magic in the Victoria Halls on Sunday, October 9 at 1pm. Tickets cost £10.50 with a family saver costing £38.00. Tickets can be picked up from the Victoria Halls or purchased by phoning 01436 673275 or by going online to ticketmaster.co.uk
