A packed lineup has been scheduled at Loch Lomond Shores for the week-long October school holiday.

Many of the activities are free, including returning favourite Animal Man’s Mini Zoo on Wednesday, October 19. The popular mini zoo invites families to get up close and personal with creepy crawlies, fluffy creatures, reptiles and more.

The week of events will kick off on Sunday with the Loch Lomond Shores Farmers Market, live music from Lynnie Carson, and a hands-on LEGO® station in the Mall.

The following weekend, Loch Lomond Community Cinema have some screenings of the latest films, and fans of Paw Patrol can come along on Sunday, October 23 to meet a Chase look-alike.

Loch Lomond Shores regulars, Rainbow Twisters, will be on site for four dates with their usual brand of face painting, funky balloon animals, glitter tattoos and more (for a small fee).

The Rainbow Twisters team will also be hosting free arts and crafts sessions on Monday, with Halloween-themed scratch art to keep the kids entertained. A

free bike event, The Big Bike Revival, will also be taking place on Tuesday 18th, with free bike health checks, bookable instructor-led cycle rides, flag giveaways, live music and more.

Stuart Williams, marketing assistant at Loch Lomond Shores, said: “There’s something to suit every taste this October week, with events such as our regular Farmers Market, cinema showings, live music, and great free activities for the kids.

"Plus, visitors can indulge in a spot of retail therapy or try out one of our great activities on site, like the Sea Life Centre, Bird of Prey Centre or, for more adventurous types, TreeZone Aerial Adventure Course. We hope people enjoy our lineup and have a great October break!”

The full schedule also includes the Sea Life Centre's ongoing Spooky Seas event, running until October 31 and revealing many of the ocean's hidden tricks and treats.

However, the Loch Lomond Shores Spooky Walks previewed in last week's issue have now sold out. Hope you managed to get your hands on a ticket!
