HELENSBURGH Music Society is welcoming the McNeill Savaloni Duo for a concert at the Victoria Halls this weekend.

Soprano Alison McNeill and Iranian-Scottish guitarist Sasha Savaloni are set to take to the stage on Saturday, November 12 at 7.45pm to present their exciting and varied programme of Spanish, French and Scots songs.

Sung by Alison and accompanied by Sasha, the pair will showcase their talents as a duo.

Alison and Sasha made their debut in 2011 at the Big Guitar Weekend Festival which gained them a mention in the Classic Guitar Magazine.

Since then they have gone on to establish themselves as a voice and guitar duo in the UK.

They have performed recitals in Spain and throughout Scotland, at prestigious events such as the Clasicos en Verano Chamber Music Series in Madrid, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Big Guitar Weekend Festival and were recorded and interviewed for the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland Classics Unwrapped series.

Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £12 for non-members and £11 for members. Student tickets are £5 and under-18 tickets £1.
