Helensburgh Oratorio Choir is looking for new members ahead of its first rehearsal of the new season.
Tenors and basses are particularly encouraged to come along and try out singing in the choir - without obligation - under charismatic musical director Jonathon Swinard.
The choir's winter 2017 concert, taking place at Helensburgh Parish Church on Sunday, November 5, includes ‘Sound the Trumpet, Beat the Drums’, Bach Cantata 214 ‘Tönet ihr Pauken! Erschallet, Trumpeten’, and Haydn’s ‘Paukenmesse’ (Mass in Time of War), and the choir’s spring 2018 concert - on a date yet to be announced - will be Mendelssohn’s ‘Elijah’.
More info on the choir is at www.helensburghoratorio.co.uk.
