The first of the 2017/18 series of Sunday at Seven Concerts at Helensburgh Parish Church takes place this Sunday, October 29.
It features the renowned trumpeter, Mark O’Keefe, accompanied by Derek Clark on organ and piano.
Mark O’Keefe has held the post of principal trumpeter with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra since December 1996.
He has had an illustrious career, including principal guest trumpeter with the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra.
Derek Clark is director of music at Helensburgh Parish Church and head of music at Scottish Opera.
Mark has performed on several occasions at Helensbuergh Parish Church to great acclaim and this concert promises to be equally as popular and enjoyable.
Looking further ahead in the series, pupils from Hermitage Academy will perform at the next Sunday at Seven Concert on November 26, while the extremely popular Christmas “Come and Sing” is on December 17.
