Support for new community centre Comment Bubble

Members of the Helensburgh Community Centre Trust would like to express their thanks and appreciation to those who took the time to visit the presentation of the Trust’s plans for a new community centre in Helensburgh in the Victoria Halls last week.

Their interest, support and suggestions were a source of great encouragement to the trustees and endorsed the long held view that “it’s just what we need” to quote the headline of the covering report in last week’s edition of this newspaper.

I was interested to read your article on red squirrels in last week’s Advertiser.

Not surprised by SNP member's comments Comment Bubble

Given that he is a member of the SNP and stood as an SNP candidate at the May elections, the comments in Richard Trail’s letter in last week’s Advertiser relating to the appointment of the chair of the area committee do not surprise me.
