A YOUNG boy was airlifted to hospital last night from a flat in Kirkmichael.
Emergency services attended the scene at Williamson Drive at around 8pm. The boy was flown to hospital in Glasgow.
Local reports have claimed the youngster was involved in a fall.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We can confirm we received a call shortly after 8pm last night at attend Williamson Drive in Helensburgh.
"Local ambulance crews and a helicopter attended the incident which involved a child.
"He was flown from the scene to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. He was reported to have been in a stable condition."
