A VILLAGE café has been recognised for its excellent service for the third year in a row.

The Café at Kilcreggan has won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2016, which reflects consistently great reviews on the TripAdvisor website.

The Certificate of Excellence was launched in 2010 and is awarded to establishments that achieve great reviews on the site over the year.

Siona Garden, café proprietor, said: “We are delighted to have won the award for the third year in a row.

“I am extremely proud of my team for consistently providing excellent food and service. We continually strive to provide the best service that we can with ongoing staff training and close attention to detail. It is great for our hard work to be recognised.”

Premises with certificates of excellence are located all over the world The certificate is determined using a variety of user-generated content including, review rating, overall rating and quantity and recency of reviews.

To qualify for the certificate, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
