BACKPACKS with a cause are now stocked at RSPB Loch Lomond Shores.
Bixbee kid’s backpacks are available to be purchased in a range of colourful owl designs and for each backpack purchased, a backpack full of school supplies will be sent to a child in need around the world.
As well as Bixbee’s “One Here, One There” mission, all profit raised in RSPB’s stores goes directly towards their charity work.
Gayle Haddow, RSPB Store Manager, said: “Children are naturally hungry for knowledge, which is why I am so proud to stock Bixbee backpacks in our store, as every child deserves the tools to learn.
“I am fortunate enough to be in a job where I get a sense of satisfaction knowing that our sales go directly back into making a tangible difference in saving the UK's wildlife.
"To know that by selling Bixbees backpacks we are also helping some of world’s less fortunate children is very special to me. And they are flying off the shelves because they are super cute! Definitely worth a peek.”
Founded in 1889, RSPB is the country’s largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home. Their work helps to protect threatened birds and wildlife across the UK, as well as playing a lead role in a worldwide partnership of nature conservation organisations.
