A LARGE number of people turned out to show their support for the Helensburgh Savoy Musical Theatre Group at their recent events.
They held a craft and table top sale which saw a variety of stall holders turn out to showcase their products and answer questions people had.
The Savoy’s own bacon rolls and soup proved popular amongst the gathering crowd as did the home baking which sold particularly well.
Over £400 was raised from the event which will be put towards the Savoy’s upcoming production of the stage musical ‘Oklahoma’.
The performance will run in the Victoria Halls from November 2 to November 5.
Pauline Forrest of Helensburgh Savoy, said: “The craft and table top sale was very well attended with lots of people enjoying browsing all the stalls of local crafters’ handiwork.
“Helensburgh Savoy would like to thank all the stall holders and members of the public who attended on the day for their support in raising funds.”
Tickets for the upcoming performance of ‘Oklahoma’ can be purchased from First Class, West Princes Street and are priced at between £8 and £12.
