NEW visitor panels along the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail means that locals and visitors can now enjoy an enhanced journey of discovery.

The four new panels now take the total to thirteen to boost the trail. The new visitor information panels connect a string of coastal communities along the south-western edge of the National Park between Dumbarton and Arrochar.

The Clyde Sea Lochs Trail has its own map and geocaching coordinates and is a good way for locals and tourists to explore the areas heritage, history and wildlife. The trail can be walked, cycled or toured by car.

The four new panels are situated at Dumbarton Castle, Cardross, Helensburgh East Bay and Rhu.

Anne Urquhart, a Director, of Love Loch Lomond said: “The idea behind the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail is to encourage visitors and local residents to explore the villages, towns and other attractions along the Clyde Sea Lochs edge, A814 and the Rosneath Peninsula.

“The In and Around Loch Lomond visitor guide contains a featured article which describes a little more about the Trail, and is available from various local outlets. We would really encourage locals to explore the local area so they can recommend and share this wonderful area to others.”
