This Vauxhall Antara was found in Columba Street after being stolen from Armstrong Road
A CAR which was stolen from outside a Helensburgh home in the early hours of Sunday has been found near the centre of the town.
Thieves entered Amanda Logan's home in Armstrong Road some time between 2.10am and 8am on March 19, stole her keys and made off with the white Vauxhall Antara.
But Amanda contacted the Advertiser on Tuesday morning to say the vehicle had been located less than two miles away.
She said: “CID officers found the car in Columba Street in the early hours of Tuesday. They've taken it away for forensic examination.”
Appeals on Facebook from Amanda's daughter and brother for information about the theft were shared thousands of times.
