A DRIVER has been accused of hitting another vehicle after allegedly crashing his van into a traffic island.
Last Wednesday at Alloa's Justice of the Peace Court, Anthony Cameron pleaded not guilty to driving without due care or attention along Kirkwynd in Clackmannan on October 17 last year.
The 21-year-old is accused of driving at an excessive speed and failing to slow down to navigate a traffic island, causing the van to strike said structure and another motor.
The accused also denied failing to stop and give his details or report the alleged incident to the police.
Cameron, of Birkhill Holdings in Linn Mill, will stand trial on May 24.
