A SERIES of events will take place at the Cove Park artists' retreat on the Rosneath peninsula next month.

The events in the spring 'Hands-On' programme are all about getting outside and getting creative.

Younger creative types can can create and animate their own mini worlds at Photo Cinema Holiday Art Club with theatre artist Ellie Griffiths from Monday, April 3 to Friday, April 7.

And young people aged 12 and up will have the chance to work with their peers from Dunoon and Bute on consecutive days from April 10-12 at Cove Park, Dunoon Burgh Hall and Rothesay Pavilion.

A masterclass entitled 'An Enthusiast's Introduction to Eco-Dyeing' runs on April 22 and 23 with artist Laura Aldridge, providing an opportunity to experiment with printing on to fabric using natural materials.

And Cove Park's Saturday Art Club, for young artists aged 7-11, restarts on Saturday, April 29 and runs until Saturday, June 10.
