LOMOND and Clyde Community Orchestra (LoCCO) have been fundraising to help encourage people to play music.
One of their most recent fundraisers was a sponsored walk up to the Ben Bowie Viewpoint on Saturday, March 19, which saw 32 people and seven dogs take part to raise money for the orchestra.
Anne Evans, secretary of LoCCO, said: “Generally the weather was bright and sunny and we enjoyed the stunning views across Loch Lomond when we reached the viewpoint.
“Many thanks go to everyone who took part, including grannies, grandads, mums and dads, children and orchestra members.”
The group set up a crowdfunding page which aimed to raise £300 and have already achieved their target with £400 on the page.
The group meet once a week for rehearsals in St Michael’s Church Hall, William Street, Helensburgh from 10am until noon.
LoCCOs spring concert will be held this Saturday, March 25, at the Victoria Halls starting at 11am.
