A GROUP of Helensburgh artists will show off their work at the town's Mackintosh Club over the next few days.
The Suffolk Art Group's exhibition of landscape, floral and animal paintings takes place at the premises at 40 Sinclair Street from Saturday, April 1 until Tuesday, April 4 from 10am to 4pm.
The exhibition opens with an invitation-only private viewing on Friday evening from 6-9pm.
The event is the latest new string to the Mackintosh Club's bow: the venue played host earlier this month to the filming of a new video for the folk group Barluath, whose lead singer, Ainsley Hamill, hails from Cardross, while last Thursday a group of Helensburgh businesses worked together to organise a 'customer appreciation' event at the club.
More on that event in next week's issue of the Advertiser.
