THE Commodore Hotel is getting ready to host a casino night to launch the Gary Andrews Remember a Life lung cancer charity.

Gary Andrews, from Garelochhead, passed away in 2013 from the disease and now his wife Kelly Andrews, 36, has set up the trust in his name to keep his memory alive.

Kelly has dedicated her time to fundraising and raising awareness and to date has raised more than £10,000 for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation but has now set up the trust to see the money make a difference locally.

The charity casino night on Saturday, April 15 is set to start the fundraising for the trust and will run from 6.30pm until 12.30am.

There will also be a disco and buffet included.

Tickets for the event cost £10 and can be purchased by calling Kelly on 07714 419 758.
