HELENSBURGH RNLI Lifeboat is set to benefit from the funds raised by Helensburgh Golf Club from their charity competition.
On Saturday, April 1, 108 participants, amounting to 27 teams of both men and women took part in the competition to raise money for the RNLI Lifeboat.
The highlight of the winners round was a two on the par four, 440 yard 10th hole, the most difficult on the course.
The shot involved was a 3-wood played by D Singleton with the second shot which hit the pin and dropped into the hole.
The competition was won by Dougie Singleton, Dougie Stewart, John Gallagher and Robert Dunbar, net 51.0.
In second place was Stevie Donald, Andy Donald, Peter Mundie and Sandy Bulloch, net 55.2 and taking third place was Jamie Francis, Jim McKenzie, Terry Smith and Bret Loudfoot, net 55.9.
As well as a good day had be all competitors over £200 was donated to the RNLI.
