A TEENAGE boy threw a slab through his living room window.

On Thursday, the 16-year-old - who cannot be named due to legal reasons - admitted shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence at an address in Alloa on April 16 this year.

He also pleaded guilty to struggling violently with two constables during his arrest.

In addition, the teen admitted shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence at an address in Tullibody on April 18, as well as damaging the property's window by chucking a slab through it.

Fiscal depute Laura Knox told Alloa Sheriff Court that police were called to the Alloa incident at around 3.20am.

They arrived to find the irate accused being held down by a family member.

He then turned against the PCs, challenging them to a fight and branding the women "piggy b***ards". Resisting arrest, he struggled violently in an attempt to break free before the second handcuff was secure.

During the Tullibody incident, the accused was described as being in a "foul mood".

He left the family home, before returning at around 12.45am in an "animated state" under the influence of alcohol.

After being asked where he had been, the youngster began to shout and swear. He then challenged a family member to a fight.

When the accused left the property a slab was thrown through the living room window. Although no one witnessed who broke the glass, the teenager was spotted laughing outside.

Defending, Stan Quick claimed that his client was back living at home and was supported in court by his mum.

Sheriff David Mackie adjourned the case until June 29 to await advice from Children's Hearings Scotland.
