HELENSBURGH’s newest festival - The Argyll Gathering - is set to have a lot more in store than just great entertainment.

Food From Argyll have revealed their food and drink vendors for the weekend which are sure to please hungry festival goers.

Some of the vendors include Loch Fyne Oysters, Home Ground Coffee, Scozzese Pizza, COAST, The Real Mackay Stovie Co’s, Shellfield Farm’s fresh lamb and mutton, Churchill Venison, Duntarrin Pork and William Bros will be providing a range of their craft beers.

The organisers of the festival are keen to engage as much of the local community as possible and with this in mind have organised a series of workshops to take place throughout the event.

Ruairidh Graham of popular Niteworks and Ellen Macdonald of Daimh will be running a series of workshops in Gaelic language, tradition and song.

Luke Daniels of Gael Music – a youth led arts and heritage organisation that promotes, develops and celebrates folk and traditional music with communities across the UK will be bringing his youth folk orchestra to Argyll Gathering and run a

workshop.

Sarah Keer from Welcome Trust for Cell Biology will be bringing Escape The Room to Helensburgh. Scotland’s first live escape game will see players locked in a mysterious room with 60 minutes to get out. A fun, challenging game for teams of people and a unique addition to the festival.

Organisers have also announced a partner with The Mackintosh Club. The festival will support local charity Mackintosh Club enabling funding and publicity opportunities for the gallery, visitor centre and rooftop.
