BRAVE runners can now sign up to take part in Hel 'n' Back, organised by Helensburgh AAC.
The challenging 12.5km race along the John Muir Way and Three Lochs Way trails offers views over the Clyde, Arrochar Alps, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.
The event packs in 1,253ft of elevation along the tracks but it is deemed worth it for the sense of achievement, views, cookie medals, home baking and Dino’s Ice Cream at the finish line.
The event is set to take place on Sunday, September 10 at 11am, starting from Hermitage Academy and is now open to runners aged 18 and older.
