TWO teenage girls were taken to hospital after a road accident in Helensburgh on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services attended a report of a crash involving two vehicles – a blue Ford Focus and a black Renault Captur – in West Montrose Street at 5.55pm.
The two girls, aged 15 and 16, were among four people travelling in the Renault when the collision happened.
The Renault's driver, a 36-year-old woman, was taken to hospital along with two of her passengers for treatment to minor injuries. All have since been discharged.
The Renault's other occupant, another 16-year-old girl, and the sole occupant of the Ford Focus, a 50-year-old man, did not require hospital treatment.
Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
