A SERIES of Hallowe’en events at Ardardan Estate near Helensburgh proved popular with around 200 people showing up to carve pumpkins.
Children and adults got stuck in to save a mess at home and create the scariest and most inventive pumpkins they could think of to take home in time for the big night.
Another event held over the Hallowe’en weekend which saw large numbers turn up was storytelling by Susan Wilson and Ardardan’s resident face-painter was on hand to help add the finishing touches to Hallowe’en costumes.
A spokeswoman for Ardardan told the Advertiser: “Our seasonal events are becoming more and more popular and we are so grateful for everyone who supported and came along to our Hallowe’en fun.
"We are delighted with how everything went and hope that Ardardan is a destination for families to enjoy and make happy memories throughout the year.”
