ADVENTURER and film maker Leon McCarron will speak in Helensburgh later this month as part of the RSGS Inspiring People talks programme.

Residents are invited to join Leon as he recounts his story of following wild hiking trails from Jerusalem to traverse some of the most contested landscapes in the world.

Leon’s talk is a journey both through time and through the layers of history, culture and religion that have shaped the Holy Land. But at its heart, it is the story of people, not politics and of the connections that can bridge seemingly insurmountable barriers.

Leon’s talk will take place on Thursday, November 23 at 7:30pm in Victoria Halls.

The talk, Walking The Holy Land, is open to all and tickets are available via rsgs.org or at the door on the night.

For more information on all of the speakers set to arrive in Helensburgh visit rsgs.org or call RSGS HQ on 01738 455050.
