THE Helensburgh Festive Lighting Trust is assuring eagle-eyed residents in the town that work on the Christmas lights will resume on Tuesday.
A few residents raised concerns with members of the group responsible for the lights after work seemed to stop last week with some of the main features still not in place such as those in Sinclair Street.
A spokeswoman for the Trust, said: "work to install the lights has progressed well with over 150 features already in place and work to complete the final few will resume on Tuesday, November 14.
"The plan was always to take a break of ten days to allow two of Santa’s elves to celebrate their Golden Wedding on the 11th but they will be back working for Santa again next week."
The lights will all be up in time for the big switch on, set to take place on Friday, November 24.
