REVELLERS came together for New Year parties at venues across Helensburgh and Lomond to welcome 2008.
Party-goers let their hair down in Kilcreggan and even had time to stop for a photograph as they saw in the new year.
Elsewhere in the area a group of friends got the party started at the Imperial Hotel.
The Victoria Halls played host once again to Helensburgh’s traditional New Year ceilidh – and it was a particularly special occasion for one couple, as Duncan Hamilton proposed to Emma Blanchard under the mistletoe.
