HELENSBURGH motorists have been warned to leave extra time for their journeys after work started on resurfacing the Lomondgate roundabout on the A82.
The lane markings will be revised and the roundabout resurfaced in a bid to improve safety and traffic flow.
The work, carried out as part of Transport Scotland’s strategic trunk road safety programme, started on Monday and is expected to be completed on Tuesday, February 27.
Work is being carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am. Full lane closures will be in place northbound from 8pm to 6am on Saturday and Sunday, February 24 and 25.
Southbound closures will also be in place from 8pm to 6am on Friday, February 23 and Monday, February 26. Local services will remain open and alternative access arrangements made.
