HELENSBURGH'S birdwatchers are heading to Renfrewshire this Sunday, February 25, on the first outing of the year for the local RSPB group.
The destination for the day trip is the RSPB centre at Lochwinnoch, where staff and volunteers have done a great deal to encourage birds, and the excellent viewing facilities, path network and shop combine to make this a very popular venue.
If you're interested in joining the group's members on the trip, meet outside Helensburgh Swimming Pool at 9am. The cost is £6.
(Members are asked to note the change from the published programme, which has the outing down as Saturday.)
