FOR today's Archive Hour feature we go back in time 10 years to a day of hard work by children, staff and parents in the grounds of Lomond Nursery in Helensburgh.
Here's how we reported their Action Earth efforts in the Advertiser on May 15, 2008...

GREEN-FINGERED tots at Lomond Nursery in Helensburgh took part in an annual Grounds and Action Earth Day recently.
Children and their families were invited to work alongside staff in the nursery gardens to improve the site and make it a better place for the youngsters to play in.
They also enjoyed fun events organised by one of the sixth year pupils who is raising funds for a quest in Chile, with Project Trust.
After a hard day’s work, everyone was grateful for the barbecue and refreshments which followed.
The Earth Action project is co-ordinated by CSV Environment.
