ARGYLL and Bute Council has been asked to grant planning permission for a proposed new house in Helensburgh.
Applicant Charles Batchelor has asked the council for the green light to carry out the work in the garden ground of the property at 38 William Street.
Mr Batchelor’s application also seeks permission to form a new vehicular access to the property.
Elsewhere, the local authority has been asked to grant permission ‘in principle’ for the erection of a new house near Garelochhead.
Applicant Graham Hamilton is seeking outline permission to build in the garden ground of Greenlea in Rahane.
The application does not set out in detail the design of the proposed new house; that information will follow in a subsequent application if Mr Hamilton’s current bid is approved by council officials.
Background papers on the applications can be viewed at argyll-bute.gov.uk by searching for the planning codes 18/01059/PP (William Street) and 18/01026/PPP (Rahane).
