A GARDEN party to celebrate the latest phase of work on a Helensburgh community park will be held next month.
The James Street Community Garden Association is hosting the fun, free event on Saturday, June 9 from 2-4pm.
The afternoon will feature fun activities for children, including garden games, a treasure hunt, a teddy bears’ picnic (bring your teddy and a picnic) and a tea tent with refreshments and a tombola.
The event is being held to celebrate the recent installation of new benches at the garden and the completion of most of the work on the space, which was formerly a council-run play park.
