People in Helensburgh and Lomond are being invited to join the fun at HM Naval Base Clyde's Families Day this Saturday, June 9.

The event, at Helensburgh Rugby Club, is part of the Base's 50th anniversary celebrations and is open to all – not just the families of service personnel.

The day will feature a host of entertainment and activities for the whole family, including pony rides, inflatables, the Royal Marine display team, Europe’s leading BMX stunt display team, a climibing wall, circus acts, face painting and a special performance from the West of Scotland Military Wives Choir.

The event will run from 11am to 4pm and the entry fee is a donation to the Helensburgh and Lomond Food Bank.
