More than 150 people flocked to Helensburgh for a tour of Hill House to celebrate the 150th birthday of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Locals and visitors from America and Barcelona visited the mansion to view the architect's bespoke designs.
Emma Sweeney, who helped organise the event, said: "It was very busy.
"We had loads of guests. It's a self-guided tour, so they could walk about and on their way out they got cake."
Staff at Hill House baked the cake, which featured a photograph of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, to commemorate the special occasion.
They were also asked to sign a giant birthday card made by one of the members of staff.
"Everyone was really positive and I was a really nice atmosphere", Emma added.
"It was a beautiful day outside so when they go to the drawing room and it's a beautiful sunny day adds to the magic of the house.
"It's so light and sunny because of the big windows, so you can see the geometric shapes in the windows reflecting on the walls and carpet. That was one of the aims of the design."
