A FOUR star hotel situated on the banks of Loch Lomond has had planning permission granted for an extensive redevelopment.
The Lodge on Loch Lomond, in Luss, will now be able to go ahead with an extension and external alterations after the plans were approved without any objections.
The beachfront destination’s owners want to enclose its existing raised terrace, facing on to the loch, so that it can be used as an additional internal dining area, as outlined in the plans. The work will also modestly extend the floorspace used to enlarge the internal capacity of the building.
Comments on the application by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park stated that the plan “raises no concerns and therefore accords with the overarching policies of the Local Development Plan”.
