A BUILDER’S merchant has made a donation to a nursery group to help with its re-launch next month.

Helensburgh’s popular Bounce and Tickle nursery is changing its name to Fun First and is creating a whole new look with new initiatives.

Local builders merchant M&T’s have stepped in to help the group with its new launch, as Alan Trail explained: “My own children go to Bounce and Tickle Rhymetime sessions and they love it. When the group mentioned recently that they haven’t got all the funding needed to launch all the new ideas, I knew that we could help. Given the way the Rhymetime sessions are run, I know the money will be put to good use to provide local children with great new activities.”

Bounce and Tickle was established in 2001 and has been an important resource for parents and young children ever since.

Activity Managers Vicky Fletcher, Carolyn Williamson and some of the children from the group. Vicky said: “It has been great to get this money from M&T’s. It has really helped and means we will be able to spend more time on planning Fun activities rather than fundraising.”

Fun First will consist of four different sections, Bookstart Rhymetimes, Fabletales, Fitness and Fun First For Hire.
