A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault on a teenager in broad daylight in a street at the east end of Helensburgh.
The 18-year-old was reportedly hit on the head and body and had his mobile phone stolen in the alleged attack in Craigendoran Avenue at around 2pm on Monday, July 23.
As a result of police enquiries into the incident the 36-year-old man was arrested and charged, and was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on July 25.
The alleged victim did not require any medical attention.
