Applications are being invited for Argyll and Bute Council’s Strategic Events and Festivals Fund for 2019-20.
The Fund has a £113,000 budget for the 2019-20 period and is open for online applications now for a period of six weeks, closing at 12 noon on Friday, September 14.
In a change to the way the fund has operated in the past, two grant pots are available in 2019-20, one of which will allow applicants to apply for a grant of £5,000 or less.
The other is for grants of more than £5,000.
Applicants can only seek funding from one of the pots per event.
Applications to the Strategic Events and Festivals Fund can be made online at https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/events-and-festivals-grants where guidance is also available.
Later this year, the council’s Supporting Communities Fund will invite applications from smaller, community-focussed events.
