A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after a road accident in Helensburgh.
The 63-year-old was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley suffering from minor injuries after the collision on the A814 near the Kidston Park car park at around 6pm on August 9.
Firefighters from Helensburgh used cutting equipment to release the woman driver from her vehicle.
The male driver of the other car, a Mercedes, was uninjured.
Police said he was issued with a fix penalty notice for careless diving.
They added that a contraflow system was put into operation for the duration of the incident and no diversions were necessary.
