POLICE arrested a 36-year-old woman in the centre of Helensburgh after reports of verbal abuse being shouted at a young child.
Officers investigated the incident in West Clyde Street at around 8.10pm on Sunday, September 2.
It's alleged that the woman was abusive towards officers when they arrived at the scene and that she tried to strike them while being placed under arrest.
The woman was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court for the alleged offences.
