HELENSBURGH commuters' train journeys were badly disrupted on Wednesday morning after a person was hit by a train in the east end of Glasgow.
The line via Glasgow Queen Street low level was blocked after the incident between Queen Street and Bellgrove stations.
Helensburgh Central services were not operating east of Dalmuir, while Balloch-Airdrie trains were not operating east of Anniesland and Dumbarton-Springburn/Cumbernauld route was suspended completely.
Services between Dalmuir and Glasgow Central low level were unaffected.
Valid train tickets were being accepted on First Glasgow's local bus services.
The disruption was expected to last until 10am.
