HELENSBURGH'S RNLI lifeboat crew were called to help a yacht which ran aground off the town's seafront on Sunday afternoon.
The one person on board the yacht had reported that the vessel appeared to be taking in water, while the tide was on the ebb.
After launching following the alert at 5.01pm, the lifeboat crew proceeded to the area, and after locating the vessel, they managed to tow it clear of the rocks.
They took it in tow back to Rhu Marina where it was recovered onto its own launching trolley.
The lifeboat was back on service again at 6.55pm.
