A GROUND-BREAKING exhibition of new work by students at the Glasgow School of Art opens in Helensburgh tomorrow.
The event, being hosted by Helensburgh Community Council, is the first time students from the world-famous art school have exhibited on such a large scale outside of Glasgow.
Following an opening ceremony on Friday evening, the exhibition will be open to the public at the Victoria Halls from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am-6pm on Saturday and 12 noon-5pm on Sunday.
A smaller exhibition of work will also be on show at the Mackintosh Club in Sinclair Street during the course of the weekend.
The latter venue is also hosting a small exhibition of GSA students' work at a charity event in aid of Breast Cancer Now from 6-8pm on Friday.
Tickets for the charity event are going fast – call 07940 419532 to get your name on the list.
