A HELENSBURGH pub is seeking permission from Argyll and Bute Council to set up a beer garden at the premises.
Applicant John Rapallini has lodged a planning application with the local authority to provide the garden on land measuring 260 square metres at the rear of the Clyde Bar in West Clyde Street.
In his application form, Mr Rapallini says he has been advised by council planning officer Frazer MacLeod that the proposal is not contrary to the policies in the authority’s local development plan.
The area proposed for use as a beer garden currently serves as a drying green.
To read more about Mr Rapallini’s application, search Argyll and Bute Council’s website using the code 17/01756/PP.
The application is currently being considered by council planning officials and a decision is expected in due course.
